Behavioral obligations  

• Act in a sportsmanlike manner.

• Ensure that your demeanor will never compromise the integrity and dignity of the club.
• Hold upmost respect for your coaches, team members, competitors, officials and spectators.
• Execute your behavior in a way that does not inhibit, repress or discourage other team members.
• Adhere to and respect any appeals of coaches and or supporting staff Respect the talent, potential and development of fellow team Members and competitors. 
• Care and respect the equipment provided to you as part of your program. 
• Be frank and honest with your coach concerning illness and injury and your ability to train fully within program requirements

Social Media Obligations  

• Share any Ascend content (Stories, Post’s) on your social media story (Instagram, Facebook) 
• Produce an Ascend related post (Gym training, On snow training, Nutrition) on your social media page (Instagram, Facebook) at least 6 times per year Produce an Instagram and Facebook story with Ascend related content (Gym training, On snow training, Nutrition) every week.

Board Member Obligations  

• Know and be able to effectively articulate the mission, purpose, strategic direction, goals, and programs of Ascend. 
• Participate in the periodic review and revision, when appropriate, of the organization’s mission, purpose, strategic directions, and goals. 
• Participate actively in assessing Ascends performance against its goals and objectives. 
• Assist the board in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities, such as reviewing the organization’s financial statements. 
• Attend and actively participate in all board meetings. Serve on committees, task forces, and/or volunteer for special assignments when the opportunity arises. 
• As a member of a committee, attend and actively participate in all committee meetings.  
• Act in the best interest of Ascend as a whole, supporting directions that serve all Athletes, Coaches and supporting staff.  
• Act as an ambassador for Ascend, helping to establish or strengthen relationships and occasionally representing the association by making presentations or conducting other forms of outreach. 
• Adhere to conflict of interest and code of ethics policies.
